Irland/Ireland

Now it is about time to get the last pictures from the holiday uploaded.

Of course Max og jeg had a terrific trip to Ireland and England. Irland looks a lot like England with regard to the landscape and the constructionwise, and you do not at all feel like Belfast and Dublin are in big cities before you see them from above. I felt like a daredevil in the Eye in Belfast and in Dublin we visited Guiness, which has a skyhigh building, where you can see the city in 360 degrees. We rented a car and drove from Belfast to Dublin along the coast via Newcastle and around the mountains. It took more than 5 hours - we could have done it in less than 2 timer, if we had driven the directly skyline, but it was a good experience and we enjoyed it. I also found it to be great fun to ride the left side of the road after so many year.

England

It was good to get to England and rest efter a very hectic year with moving, renovation and engagement in Tommy's life with looking after and arranging some repairs and other little things in his apartment and some extra stress in connection with the wedding in Serbia etc. There were many long walks with the dogs in Kenton, a trip to the famous Dartmoore, long relaxing conversations with Kim while Sam and Josh had to watch their computers taken over by Max. Simon assisted with medical care to the patien in distress - I always arrive with some kind of minor defects. I also visited Kim's hairdresser, which was one of the best thing I had done for a long time. Niki got hold of the locks, so now I look forward to see if my danish hairdresse can adopt the style.

London Michele was fortunately off duty for at couple of days, and we visited among other things Richmond Park with the flights from Heathrow not far above our heads. An amazing great area with wild animals too. The perrots have invaded London - I think there is about 700, and you hear them during the day, which is very exotic. Both Finnuala and Alana kept Max occuppied - he was the big hit. Just like Simon Rodney works a lot, but we were however fortunate to see him shortly around the meals late in the evenings.

We celebrated Len's 80 years' birthday Saturday on top of the OXO building in London. Lovely to be with everyone again. Both Max and I feel very much at home in England. After the dinner we were sightseeing in London in a tourbus, which sailed on the river Themes - a speciel event. Sunday we went to a theater in London a watched a show. It was with great reluctance that we went back to Denmark.
